Foundry Lifetime Warranty
At Foundry, we are proud to stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our pieces. That’s why we offer a Lifetime Warranty to ensure your jewelry remains as exceptional as the day you received it.
What’s Covered:
The Lifetime Warranty includes refinishing and normal wear and tear. If you ever want to shine your ring back up or buff out some of those old scratches we’ll refinish the ring and bring it as close to new condition as we can.
If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, simply return it to us for evaluation. Should we determine that the damage is due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or, at our discretion, replace the item. If the original design is no longer available, we’ll offer a replacement of equal value to the original purchase price.
There is no charge for these services, although the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping both ways.
What’s Not Covered:
Fine jewelry is crafted to be treasured, but it’s not immune to the effects of rough activities or accidental damage. Rings can especially be prone to harsh conditions as they’re worn on our hands. Here’s what isn’t covered by this warranty:
- Accidental Damage: Any accidental damage beyond normal wear and tear would not be covered. This may include, but is not limited to, deep scratches, bent rings, chips, and bent prongs.
- Chemical Exposure: Discoloration from contact with chemicals, cosmetics, pools, or hot tubs.
- Loss or Theft: Unfortunately, our warranty doesn’t cover lost or stolen items.
- Third-Party Repairs or Alterations: Any service performed by someone other than Foundry will void this warranty including size adjustments and engravings.
Unique Jewelry Characteristics:
Each piece of jewelry is uniquely yours, complete with natural variations or inclusions in the materials that enhance its character. These individual traits are not considered defects but a testament to the organic beauty of your item.
Warranty Conditions:
This warranty is exclusive to the original purchaser. If we determine that the issue is not due to a manufacturing defect, we’ll let you know if repair options are available at a reasonable cost.

Production Lead Time
After payment is received and an accurate ring size is confirmed, your ring will be scheduled for production. Your ring is normally completed within 3-5 weeks; however, as each ring is masterfully crafted, they can sometimes take longer. Please see the product page for the most accurate turn around time on your ring.
If your order is time-sensitive or you procrastinated on ordering your ring (you know who you are), we recommend purchasing the Rush Processing and Shipping upgrade at checkout, which will generally cut the processing time in half.
Accurate Ring Sizing
The majority of all size exchanges are due to the initial ring being too big. Most of our designs include an insanely comfortable comfort fit inside the ring which can make the ring feel looser than a standard fit ring (Yeah, we're aware, we just described comfort fit as comfortable, but you know what, it's so comfortable that it needs to be said twice to accurately describe it). Comfort fit means that the center of the ring is true to size and gets slightly larger toward the edges of the ring. This makes it easier to get the ring on and off and it fits more comfortably on the finger. Our ring sizers are also comfort fit so if you use our ring sizers the sizing will match our comfort fit rings. Keeping that in mind, if you were sized based on standard fit rings some people like to order their ring slightly smaller than their ring size (normally a quarter size smaller), if they like their rings to be snug on their finger.
If you aren't used to wearing a ring, everything may feel too tight to start out. However, a ring that's too loose can come off and become lost. Due to this, we highly suggest you size your finger using the "Bend and Twist" method. Once you have a ring sizer over your knuckle, there should be a bit of "resistance" in taking it off. When taking a ring off, bend your knuckle slightly and twist it (Get it? "Bend and Twist"). Trying to pull it straight back over your knuckle without bending and twisting can cause it to catch the skin and not give an accurate size.
Since, as we explained, we can't size you personally, your ring will be made in the size you provide to us. It is your responsibility to be certain of size before ordering. Please also double check the options that you have selected on your ring before placing your order.
If you would like to order a set of our sizers, simply select ‘Send Ring Sizers’ as the size for your ring or just order a set of our ring sizers here. Make sure to review our guide on how to use the ring sizers. Our sizers cover US sizes 5 - 16, including most half sizes. When ordered with a ring, the sizers are free, but may have an additional shipping fee. After your order is placed, the sizers will be shipped out the following business day. If you order the sizers with your ring, once you receive the sizers and know your size, email us to let us know what size you need and your ring will be scheduled for production. Please note, rings are normally able to completed within 3-5 weeks from the time we know your ring size; however, as each ring is masterfully crafted, some can take longer. If you order the ring as a rush, it generally takes half that time. Just remember, the time doesn't start until you let us know what size you need. After all, as amazing as we are, we just haven't figured out how to start on a ring until we know the size.
Free Silicone Ring
Our silicone rings are available in whole sizes between size 4 and 13. We offer a free silicone ring with every ring that is ordered between these sizes. When we ship your ring, we'll send the appropriate sized silicone ring with it based on what size ring is ordered.
Returns/Refunds
Any returned rings will be subject to a 20% recycling fee, based on the full retail price of the ring. If you do decide to return your ring for any reason, you must do so within 14 days of delivery. Once you have returned the ring, we will issue you a refund back to the original payment method minus a 20% recycling fee.
If there is an error on your order, we will, of course, get it fixed or have a new ring created that is exactly as you ordered at no additional cost. However, any errors on our part do not exclude the buyer from the refund policies, but rather entitle them to have their ring corrected to be the product ordered.
Returned items must be in good condition. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. The return policy only applies to the first ring, exchanged rings cannot be returned or exchanged again. If you need to return your ring, please contact us for return instructions.
We reserve the right to refuse any exchange if we feel the policy is being abused.
Order Modifications or Cancellations
If you need to modify or cancel your order, please advise us of those changes within 24 hours of placing the order. As production of your ring is started the following business day after an order is placed, any order cancellations after 24 hours will have a 20% recycling fee, based on the full retail price of the ring. If you do need to modify your order, please contact us.
Size Exchanges
Ordered and Used Foundry Ring Sizers
If you ordered and used our Ring Sizer and need to change the size of your ring after you have received it, there is no fee within the first 30 days of delivery. Beyond the first 30 days and up to 1 year there is a Size Exchange Fee of 20% of the current full retail price of the ring. After 1 year, the fee is 40% of the current full retail price of the ring for everyone.
Did Not Order and Use Foundry Ring Sizers
If you did not order and use our sizers, there is a Size Exchange Fee of 20% of the current full retail price of the ring, within 30 days of delivery. For any size exchange after 30 days and up to 1 year, the fee is 40% of the current full retail price. After 1 year, the fee is 40% for everyone.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping, and the shipping for the newly sized ring. We will only resize a ring once for the lower fee. If you need a second-size exchange, a fee of 40% of the current full retail price of the ring will apply. Once the original ring is returned and fees are paid, we will begin the size exchange process.
Size Exchanges can only be made for the same style ring and do not allow for any changes in the ring style to be made (Width, Inlays, etc.).

Style Exchanges
If you would like to change the style of your ring, you may do so within the first 30 days after the ring is delivered for a 20% Style Exchange Fee based on the current full retail price of the original ring. After 30 days and up to 1 year, there is a 40% Style Exchange Fee. There are no style exchanges after 1 year.
If your new style is more expensive than your original ring, you will be responsible for paying that difference in addition to the Style Exchange Fee. If the new ring is less expensive no refunds or credits will be issued for the price difference. You may only do a style exchange once. Buyer is responsible for return shipping, and the shipping for the new ring. If you need to do a Style Exchange, please contact us for exchange instructions.
Engraving
We do our best to make sure every ring is unique and we believe that adding an engraving helps make the ring unique and special so we offer engravings on most of our rings. If your ring can be engraved, the option to add the engraving will show on the product page.
There is one caveat to the engravings, we do reserve the right to reject any custom engraving text that uses offensive or discriminatory language. While we do want you to express yourself, we also don't want to have to cover our children's eyes when we try to show off the rings to our families.
One final note, as we're very proud of every ring, most of our rings also come with the standard FOUNDRY Logo engraved on the inside of the ring.
Shipping
Our standard United States Shipping method is FedEx (we also add shipping insurance because we're responsible like that). Shipments average 3-5 business days depending on where they're being shipped. Rush Processing and Shipping is available as an upgrade option during checkout (and of course also includes the shipping insurance).
For International customers the shipping method varies by destination. As much as we've wished for it, there's just not one solution that works for all countries. If you have a preferred shipping method, you can let us know; however, you may need to pay additional shipping costs.
For International orders, your parcel can take 6-15 business days to arrive. In some cases, it can take longer due to delays in customs. You are responsible for all taxes & duties that may apply.
Pricing Changes
Please be aware that our prices can change at any time without notice. We strive to maintain competitive pricing and may adjust our prices in response to market trends, supplier costs, or other circumstances. If you have made a purchase, the price you paid at the time of the transaction will be honored; however, we cannot offer refunds or credits if the price of that item or service decreases subsequent to your purchase.
Discounts and Promotions
We don't want you to have to worry about when our next sale will start, so we will honor any discounts on our site within 3 days of you purchasing your ring. So if we start a sale soon after you buy, just contact us, and we can credit you back the discount amount.
Discounts do not stack on sale pricing, you'll just get whichever is the greater discount, and there are no discounts on exchanges.
